Our Counselor
Jennifer Hicks has worked in Christian counseling centers for over 25 years. In her counseling, she combines genuine compassion, grace-filled Biblical truths, a solid education and professional experience. Jennifer and her husband are the proud parents of a teenager and a young adult and also consider their dogs an important part of the family. Jennifer grew up as a PK (preacher's kid), so she also has a special passion for counseling people who work in ministry and their families. That is also part of where her calling to become a counselor came from and is reflected in her love of Jesus and her love of people.
She uses a combination of therapy techniques and theories, especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered, interpersonal, and emotionally focused.
